THE TEIEPHONE

There are so many things around us that make our lives become possible and easier. Many things that we couldn’t do long time  a ago it’s become easier now days. We couldn’t imagine life a day without phone. It hard to find people who doesn’t have and use phone now days. That’s why, in my opinion one of the invention that has made a significant contribution to the way people live is telephone.

Though several inventors did pioneering work on electronic voice transmission (many of whom later filed intellectual property lawsuits when telephone use exploded), Alexander Graham Bell was the first person who be awarded  a patent for the electric telephone in 1876.

Bell worked at a school for the deaf. He drew his inspiration from teaching the deaf and that inspired him to invent a machine that would  transmit sound by electricity for his students. He called the first telephone an “electrical speech machine”.

Bell was granted the first official patent for his telephone in March 1876, though he would later face years of legal challenges to his claim that he was its sole inventor, resulting in one of history’s longest patent battles. The invention become quickly took off and revolutionized global business and communication. When Bell died on August 2, 1922 U.S telephone service stopped for a minute to honor him.
